DLA Piper has recruited three newly qualified associates in Sheffield and brought in six new trainee solicitors.
Tom Manley (real estate), Joe Masson (intellectual property and technology) and Melissa Wilkinson (corporate) have successfully completed their training contracts with DLA Piper and are now embarking on their new legal careers.
The firm has also taken on six new trainee solicitors in Sheffield.
Davin Basi, Jodie Cunnington, Chloe Dunn, Laura Higson, Daniel Lavender and Sofia Wyzykiewicz joined the office in September.
They will spend two years training at the firm, six months per seat, each in a different practice area. This training provides insight and understanding of all legal disciplines, after which the trainees select their area of focus.
Petra Billing, DLA Piper’s office managing partner in Sheffield, said: “This recent investment in our people demonstrates our continued commitment to the region. We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues into our Sheffield office.”
In October, DLA Piper made a number of new hires in Leeds office.
Earlier this year, the firm promoted 17 of its lawyers in Yorkshire, including Qari Asim, Marc Harvey, Sarah Sprenger and Robyn Palmer in Sheffield.
