Tony Berry has left Addleshaw Goddard to join Clarion’s 12-strong corporate team as a legal director.
With over 25 years’ experience of M&A, Berry has extensive experience advising on a broad range of corporate transactions with particular expertise in domestic and international M&A, public company takeovers and fundraisings, group reorganisations and joint ventures.
He spent almost three years as a managing associate at Addleshaw Goddard. Prior to that, he was a principal solicitor with Eversheds from 1987 until 2013.
Richard Moran, senior partner and head of Clarion’s corporate practice, said: “Our corporate practice is going from strength to strength and our success is down to the quality of our people. We have recruited and developed an exceptional team and with his strong track record in M&A, Tony will be a welcome addition given the healthy flow of deals we have in the pipeline.”
Berry said the move was a fantastic opportunity for him to join and further strengthen a highly regarded corporate team which was well known for its “long-term investment in client relationships, combined with delivering high quality business-focussed legal advice”.
