Capsticks celebrates newly qualified solicitors and trainees in Leeds

Capsticks, a national law firm, is celebrating the success of its latest group of 11 newly qualified solicitors and trainees. Three are based in its Leeds office.

Capsticks has a strong presence in Yorkshire, with its Leeds office playing a key role in serving healthcare, housing, and public sector clients.

Among the newly qualified solicitors are Emma Lynch, Lucy Wright, and Sahiba Samra, who completed their two-year training contracts in claims, employment & pensions, and regulatory, respectively.

Senior partner Rachael Heenan commented, “It’s really important to celebrate such important career milestones and give the recognition they deserve.

“We work with organisations who work to make a difference, which means that all 10 of our newest associates have already contributed to making a difference to peoples’ lives. I hope to see them continue to thrive at Capsticks for many years to come.”

Capsticks is also welcoming a new group of 13 trainees, including Luke Appleton, who will begin his training contract in the Leeds advisory team. Many of the trainees have already worked within the firm, gaining valuable experience before beginning their legal training.

Patricia Birkedale, Early Careers Business Partner, said, “Through our Motivated Teams strategy we strive to create an environment where our people thrive and succeed. I’m delighted to see how far our new trainees have come from when they first joined us as paralegals and I’m excited to witness them grow further at Capsticks as part of their training contracts and beyond.”
