Blacks Solicitors has helped Hague, a West Yorkshire-based print management and IT solutions company to acquire a Staffordshire-based competitor.
Lawyers from Blacks managed the deal for Hague, which bought SR Print Management (SRPM) for an undisclosed sum. The purchase follows Hague’s recent expansion into Australia. The company said that it is the first of several potential future acquisitions.
Hague director, Nathan Wain, said that he saw great potential in SRPM, which which has an annual turnover of £2m.
“SRPM has a similar offering and client base to us, so it made sense for us to unite. This acquisition will allow us to grow our customer base and widen our geographical reach,” he said.
David Paterson, a partner in the corporate team at Blacks, said: “We were delighted to handle this acquisition for Hague. Nathan and his team are forward-thinking, and the business is growing quickly both here in the UK, and globally. We hope to handle many more acquisitions for Hague in the coming years.“
Wain added: “Blacks Solicitors managed the deal efficiently and provided sound legal and commercial advice throughout. David Paterson’s support and advice in particular has been indispensable.”
