Berwins has announced a key appointment to its specialist digital law team.
James Talbot, formerly of Aviva, has joined the digital team – which has seen exponential growth in demand for its services – following its further recognition in the Legal 500 and major new client wins.
Carolynn Peace, Berwins’ director, said that the digital law team was expanding rapidly. “Its success was what attracted James to come on board,” she said.
“The opportunity to work with the Berwins Digital team and its world-class clients, and be part of the future growth and development of this sector is tremendously exciting,” said Talbot.
Peace added that the firm has rolled out a new website with additional functionality as well has as completing a revamp of its Harrogate office, aimed at better representing the firm’s offering, on and offline.
Both have been redesigned to embody the firm’s ‘no ordinary lawyers’ philosophy. The website, built with client convenience in mind, offers easy to download documents, online fee payment and simple, colour-coded legal sections for ease of navigation on all devices.
Berwins was one of the region’s pioneers of the service to advise technology companies and digital agencies with their specific needs, and now has an international as well as a national clientele, operating from its Leeds and Harrogate bases.
