Andrew Jackson advises on estate sale

Andrew Jackson Solicitors has advised on the sale of Kenwick Park Estate.

The law firm’s corporate and property teams completed the sale of Kenwick Park Estate to Coppergreen Developments.

The prime developer of Kenwick Park Estate at Louth for the last 30 years, the Flynn family, sold their shareholdings in Kenwick Park Estate to Coppergreen for an undisclosed sum.

Andrew Jackson Solicitors, led by head of the corporate department, Andrew Funnell (pictured), advised the sellers on their sale of Kenwick Park Estate, a thriving modern leisure resort comprising the Kenwick Park Hotel, the rebuilt ClubSpa@Kenwick, and the Kenwick Woods and Kenwick Retreats lodge parks.

Funnell said: “We are delighted that the team at Andrew Jackson has helped to advise on such a significant transaction for the region and the holiday lodge industry. We wish Stuart and his family a long and happy retirement.”

Funnell, Jonathan Fisher and Nick Scott provided corporate advice, working alongside Geoff Phillips and Yasmin Fenton in Andrew Jackson’s property department. The Andrew Jackson team worked closely with David Everatt and Lindsay Taylor from Forrester Boyd Chartered Accountants, which provided accounting and tax advice throughout the process.

The Flynn family gave their thanks to their professional advisers, for their expert help, including Everatt of Forrester Boyd and Funnell of Andrew Jackson.

After 30 years of active involvement in the creation of Kenwick Park, the Flynn family believes now is the right time to let Coppergreen take the next exciting steps to build upon Kenwick’s long history.

This announcement follows several significant deals for the law firm, which operates from offices in Hull, Grimsby, York and Scarborough.
