Thrive Law welcomes Rebecca Shah as Head of Commercial, Data Protection and Legal Operations.  To mark the appointment, Thrive Law is offering discounted legal health checks to businesses throughout January 2026.

Thrive Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca Shah as the firm’s new Head of Commercial, Data Protection and Legal Operations, strengthening its commercial, data protection and risk management offering for SMEs, scale-ups and growing organisations across the UK.

Rebecca brings significant in-house legal experience, with a proven track record of supporting businesses through complex commercial agreements, data protection compliance, and risk governance. Her approach aligns closely with Thrive Law’s commitment to delivering accessible, human-centric and practical legal solutions.

In her new role, Rebecca will support clients across a broad range of commercial and data matters, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts such as MSAs, SaaS agreements, supplier and customer contracts, and subscription terms.
  • Advising on data protection and privacy compliance, including privacy notices, retention policies, Legitimate Interest Assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments, cookie compliance, data breach response, and subject access requests.
  • Building risk management and governance frameworks that provide structure and reduce legal exposure while supporting business growth.

Rebecca’s combined legal precision and pragmatic, collaborative style positions her as a strong addition to Thrive Law’s growing team.
