The Sheffield City Region firm has committed to raising funds for local charities. The firm will also contribute to community grass root sports.
Taylor Emmet has partnered with four charitable organizations: Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Birth Trauma Association, Support Dogs, and St. Lukes. St. Lukes joined this roster in 2023, following the firm’s support for DEC in the previous year. They have successfully raised a sum of £20,000 for the charities, exceeding their initial goal of £10,000 set in 2022.
Taylor Emmet’s staff have already arranged and taken part in a wide range of events and activities as part of their charitable fundraising. This includes skydiving, bake sales, abseiling, virtual marathons, and unique events like ‘dog and doughnut’ gatherings. The firm’s Charities Committee, staff volunteers, and charity days are the driving force behind this philanthropy.
Besides their charity initiatives, Taylor Emmet has also extended its reach to the local community by sponsoring eight sports clubs and events, contributing a total of £8,200. Most recently, they provided training wear for both professionals and children at Abbeydale Tennis Club. They also maintain their support for the Dronfield 10k and Fun Run as the headline sponsor.
Among the other organizations benefiting from Taylor Emmet’s sponsorships are Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club, Coal Aston Cricket Club, Porter FC’s U7s and U16s, Sheffield Tigers RUFC, and Dronfield Town Girls U12s.
Steve Hinshelwood, CEO of Taylor Emmet, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am thrilled with the amount we’ve raised in such a short time. All four charities offer vital support to those in need, and we’re delighted to contribute to their efforts. Each sponsored event has been immensely enjoyable, and we’re committed to continuing these endeavors.”
