Winston Solicitors expands with new hires and takeover

Strategic growth strengthens the Leeds firm’s family and personal injury departments

Leeds-based Winston Solicitors has announced significant growth through new hires and the strategic acquisition of Harrogate’s WildWood Legal.

Meet the new appointment: Hannah Craven

The family law department has welcomed Hannah Craven, formerly of Silk Family Law, as an associate solicitor. Hannah brings a wealth of experience and serves as secretary for the West & North Yorkshire Resolution committee.

Winston Solicitors, established as a solo practice in 2002 by managing partner Jonathan Winston, is a firm with over 50 employees. The addition of Hannah Craven contributes to the department’s impressive development over the past two years, a period during which the firm earned recognition from Legal 500 as a “powerhouse firm.”

Acquisition of WildWood Legal boosts the PI department

The personal injury (PI) department has grown considerably following the integration of WildWood Legal, a small specialist personal injury law firm previously based in Harrogate.

The acquisition of WildWood Legal, which has been in operation for 25 years, sees the arrival of Rogan Ashton. Roger joins as a senior personal injury solicitor and head of department.

Roger will join Winston Solicitors’ PI department alongside Stephen Hattersley, who will work as a PI consultant. Stephen has recovered millions of pounds in compensation for accident victims across his 25-year career.

Jonathan Winston, managing partner of Winston Solicitors, commented, “I am delighted to welcome Hannah, Rogan and Stephen to our team. With each new hire, as a firm we are confident in continuing to deliver an exemplary customer service alongside achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.”
