Walker Morris Corporate team advises on trio of strategic acquisitions across key growth sectors

Walker Morris’ Corporate team has advised on a trio of strategic acquisitions across the wealth management, industrial technology and dental healthcare sectors. The transactions reflect the team’s continued growth, cross-disciplinary expertise, and reputation for advising clients on strategic UK and cross-border transactions.

In the wealth management sector, the firm advised Titan Wealth on its acquisition of Chester-based Innes Reid Investments, a financial advice business that added £590m of assets under advice to Titan’s £38bn portfolio. The deal increases Titan Wealth’s presence in the North West and improves its financial planning capability across the region. The team was led by Corporate Partner John Hamer, supported by Evelyn Lewzey‑Jackson (Senior Associate, Corporate), Andrew Dutton (Associate, Corporate) and Charlotte Anderson (Senior Associate, Tax).

In another key transaction, the firm acted for US‑based Fireye, part of Spectrum Safety Solutions, on its purchase of Energy Technology & Control, a UK specialist in advanced combustion control systems. The acquisition marks an important step in Fireye’s strategy to expand its UK footprint and further consolidate its position as a global leader in combustion technology. Partner Oliver Duke led the team, with assistance from Evelyn Lewsey‑Jackson, Laura Cavell (Senior Associate, Corporate) and Angus Ferguson (Associate, Corporate).

In the dental sector, the team advised Lifco Dental on its acquisition of a majority stake in Ethoss Regeneration, a UK manufacturer of regenerative bone graft materials used in dentistry and oral surgery. The Silsden‑based company, which reported net sales of around £5.4m last year, will join Lifco’s Dental business area later this year. Partner Oliver Duke led the transaction, with Holly Ter Bruggen (Senior Associate, Corporate) and Brenna Varcoe (Associate, Corporate) supporting.

Commenting on the series of completed deals, Richard Naish, Partner and Head of Corporate, said: “The completion of these three deals underlines the expertise of our Corporate team and the firm more broadly. Advising on deals across financial services, industrial technology and dental healthcare demonstrates how effectively we bring together specialists to support clients operating in fast‑moving, highly regulated sectors. It’s also a positive signal for the market to see such sustained interest in UK specialist businesses, particularly from overseas investors.

“Each of these transactions had a clear strategic objective, and we’re pleased to have played a part in helping our clients achieve those goals. The level of activity we’re seeing gives us confidence that this trend will continue throughout 2026.”
