Schofield Sweeney promotes six

Schofield Sweeney promotes six talented lawyers, recognising their contributions and commitment to client excellence. 

Schofield Sweeney has begun the year by recognising six team members for their outstanding contributions, reflecting the firm’s commitment to career development and staff progression. 

Pardeep Khela has been promoted to partner in the real estate team. Recently recognised as a Rising Star by The Legal 500 and shortlisted for Solicitor of the Year at the British Asian Professionals Awards, Pardeep’s expertise includes high-value landlord and tenant matters, real estate finance, investor purchases, commercial development, and corporate support.  

Tina Morris has been promoted to director in the commercial services team, where she leads the education team, specialising in academy conversions for single and multi-academy trusts. Tina has been recognised as one of the top 10 influential UK education lawyers by Business Today and was shortlisted as a Rising Star at the Northern Powerhouse Awards.  

In the residential conveyancing team, Seema Gabbi has been promoted to director. She leads the team in assisting clients through the house buying and selling processes. 

James Farrell and Alex Aitken have both advanced in the corporate team. James, now a director, specialises in M&A transactions, share buy-backs, management buyouts, and group reorganisations. Alex, promoted to associate, has quickly established himself as a trusted advisor since qualifying in 2020. 

Rajveer Basra has been promoted to associate in the employment team. She advises on employee management and recruitment issues while providing specialist advice on business immigration.
