Roche Legal launches exciting new expansion

York-based Roche Legal has opened a new office in Harrogate as part of an expansion that has also seen the addition of Mike Willis to the team.

The private client firm’s new office in Harrogate will be run by Dilys Mushin, who qualified as a solicitor 24 years ago and has expertise in dealing with probate, wills, lasting powers of attorney, and applications to the Court of Protection.

Rachel Roche, who set up the firm in 2014, commented: “This is a significant day for Roche Legal and Dilys, who like all our staff, is expert at dealing with the elderly and vulnerable. In addition to seeing clients in the new Harrogate office, Dilys is happy to visit clients wherever they are, whether that is in their own home, or in a residential care home or in hospital.”

She added: “We are also delighted to welcome Mike Willis to Roche Legal and he brings with him three decades of experience of helping professionals in England and Wales with particular expertise in civil liability, regulatory and contractual risks. Mike is based in Thirsk and together with the opening of our Harrogate office, we are able to offer our services and expertise throughout the North Yorkshire area.”

The firm recently launched an online will writing service that took two years and cost more than £20,000 to develop. It’s also been shortlisted for Niche Law Firm of the Year at the 2018 Yorkshire Legal Awards.
