Raworths rounds out exceptional 2024 with promotions

Harrogate-based Raworths Solicitors has rounded off a stellar year of growth and accolades with the promotion of two key members of its Commercial team.

Employment law specialist Harjeet Nangla and litigation expert Adam Colville-Robins have been promoted to senior associate roles.

Meet the new Raworths recruits

Harjeet, who has over eight years of experience, is a recognised name in her field, having been named an Associate to Watch by Chambers UK and recommended by the Legal 500 UK. She specialises in providing tailored employment advice to SMEs and large-scale organisations on issues such as TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, and holiday pay. Harjeet also works closely with the corporate and commercial team on employment-related aspects of corporate transactions, strengthening Raworths’ ability to provide seamless legal support across disciplines.

Adam, with six years of litigation experience, is rapidly becoming a trusted name in property disputes and commercial litigation. Recommended by the Legal 500 UK, Adam represents a diverse client base, including SMEs, business owners, private membership organisations, landlords, and high-net-worth individuals. His focus on delivering exceptional client results has cemented his reputation in the sector.

Matthew Hill, head of commercial client services and dispute resolution at Raworths, said, “We congratulate Adam and Harjeet on their very well-deserved promotions. They have both excelled in their roles, building trusted, long-term relationships with their clients and establishing strong reputations for the fantastic results they achieve.

“They have contributed enormously to the growth of our Dispute Resolution and Employment teams and their commitment has been rightly rewarded. These promotions are an important part of our ongoing business development and strategy for growth.”

A year of growth and industry recognition

The promotions come at the end of a highly successful year for Raworths, which employs over 70 staff and provides integrated legal services for both commercial and private clients.

Raworths’ corporate and commercial team achieved a coveted Band 1 ranking in the Chambers UK legal guide this year, joining its employment and family teams, which have maintained the top ranking for four consecutive years.

Matthew Hill continued, “Our people are our biggest asset and to attract and retain the best talent, we continue to nurture the wellbeing and development of our team. Investing in both their technical skills and emotional intelligence is what sets us apart as a business and in turn, means we can offer an exceptional quality of service to our clients.”
