Gordons welcomes trio of commercial team hires

Gordons, a Leeds law firm, has announced the addition of two new solicitors and a paralegal to its commercial team.

The move comes as the firm celebrates its significant growth over the past three financial years. In 2022-2023, they posted a remarkable 14% year-on-year growth.

Zara Bojovic, with a background in-house at the consumer credit reporting agency TransUnion, brings a wealth of experience to her new role as a solicitor at Gordons. Having served at TransUnion since 2014, Bojovic has a deep understanding of the intricacies of the financial and consumer sectors.

Ryan Gracey, Gordons’ head of digital and technology, praised Bojovic’s experience, saying, “Zara gained a lot of valuable experience on IT and tech projects during her time in-house, and it’s tremendous to have her join the team at such an exciting time.”

Ella Fitzpatrick, a newly qualified solicitor, has successfully completed her training contract at Gordons. During her training, she gained valuable insights and expertise during a four-month secondment to Premier League champions, Manchester City FC.

Hannah Cottrell joins the team as a paralegal, with her training contract set to commence in September 2025.

Gordons’ commercial team specialises in supporting clients across various sectors, offering expertise in general commercial contracts, IT and technology, as well as privacy and data matters. Their impressive client roster includes industry leaders such as Wren Kitchens, Moss Bros, Ocado Retail, AO.com, Evri, and Sumo Digital.

Andy Brian, partner and head of the commercial team at Gordons, expressed his excitement about the new appointments, stating, “We are delighted to welcome Zara, Ella, and Hannah into the team. We’ve grown quickly over the past few years, and their appointments will set us up well for the future.”
