Fletchers Group expands leadership with four new managing directors

Fletchers Group strengthens leadership team with four new managing directors amid continued growth.

Fletchers Group has announced the expansion of its leadership team with the appointment of four new managing directors. The newly appointed managing directors will join the executive committee, working alongside CEO Peter Haden and other senior leaders, including Alex Lynch, Adrian Denson, Alex Kenny, and Zoe Holland MBE.

Caroline Morris has been appointed as managing director of serious injury law. Recognised as one of the country’s leading catastrophic injury lawyers, she has been with Fletchers since 2017. Over the past two years, she has spearheaded the expansion of the serious injury practice, growing the team to over 150 members and overseeing the acquisition of Serious Injury Law in February 2024. In her new role, she will lead all personal injury teams within the group.

Peter Rigby has been named managing director of clinical negligence. He started his legal career at Fletchers 15 years ago as a serious injury lawyer before transitioning into leadership within clinical negligence. Under his guidance, the practice has shifted towards multi-track and catastrophic cases, now handling one in four clinical negligence cases that will begin proceedings this year.

Georgia Briscoe has been appointed managing director of medical law services (MLS). A highly experienced clinical negligence and personal injury lawyer, she became a director of clinical negligence at Fletchers before leading the firm’s operational transformation in 2021. Her leadership led to the launch of MLS in May 2024, which has quickly become the largest pagination operator in the sector, employing around 180 people and developing a rapidly expanding suite of products.

Charlene Mann has been promoted to managing director of new acquisitions and Scott Rees & Co. She joined Fletchers in 2022 as director of transformation, following an extensive career in business change management, including at the Co-Operative Group. She has been instrumental in the firm’s transformation, overseeing six acquisitions, four new offices, and over £5 million in technology investments. With Fletchers set to acquire Scott Rees & Co, Charlene will take the helm of this new acquisition upon deal completion next month.

Fletchers Group CEO Peter Haden commented, “I’m incredibly proud to recognise and celebrate the promotion of these exceptional leaders. All four have contributed significantly to the success of our firm.”
