Leeds-based Consilia Legal celebrates 10 years of growth, innovation, and success with a team-building trip to Paris.
Leeds-based boutique law firm Consilia Legal, known for its expertise in family and employment law, is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The firm marked the occasion with a team-building trip to Paris, including a visit to Disneyland, a riverboat cruise, and a climb up the Sacre-Coeur Basilica.
The celebrations continued back in Leeds with a lively gathering at Veeno, attended by colleagues, friends, family, and supporters.
Founded in 2013 by Yorkshire solicitors Laura Clapton and Marie Walsh, the firm has grown from a small practice to an established legal provider with offices in Leeds, Harrogate, and London. The firm, which prioritises client well-being and workplace culture, now boasts a 15-strong team, handling high-profile family and employment law cases, including those involving assets of up to £30 million.
Director and family solicitor Laura Clapton commented, “Celebrating our 10th year in business is an incredibly proud moment. I’m proud of our team who continue to support our clients, each other, and Marie and me with the greatest care and respect. They make Consilia such a brilliant place to work.”
Marie Walsh, director and employment solicitor, highlighted the firm’s innovative approach: “We must continue to adapt to stand out as a law firm and to offer clients and employees a better experience than our competitors. In a legal world where courts and tribunals are in crisis, non-court dispute resolution is needed more than ever.”
Consilia Legal is poised for further growth, with plans to expand its services and invest in cutting-edge technology such as apps and AI-driven tools. This move aims to enhance offerings in family law, mediation, and employment law while maintaining the firm’s human-centred approach.
