Bury & Walkers Solicitors has recruited Angela Macready as a senior solicitor in its commercial team.
Macready previously headed up the commercial team at Emsleys and has specialised in helping businesses for over 10 years. She joins the Bury & Walkers team in its Leeds city centre office.
Her main focus is assisting business clients with commercial property matters acting for both landlords and tenants. She has experience in both freehold and leasehold transactions working with clients from the retail, hospitality, property management, charitable as well as medical sectors. Macready is a non-executive board member for Harrogate Housing Association having developed an interest in social housing following her time as an in-house Solicitor for a national housing provider.
The appointment adds further experience to the firm’s commercial team which expanded last year with Ian Steel joining to head its employment team and Scarlett Cooke starting as a trainee.
