Clarion has strengthened its team with 14 new hires across various departments in the third quarter of 2024.
Among the notable hires is Alex Mathias, who joins the real estate team as an associate. Alex brings expertise in commercial real estate with a specialisation in real estate finance. He predominantly represents lenders, including high street and challenger banks, on investment and development finance matters, and also handles large transactions for borrowers.
James Watson, with over 13 years of experience in residential conveyancing, also joins the real estate team. His addition is expected to bolster Clarion’s residential property services, providing support to investor clients and enhancing the firm’s capabilities in this area.
The firm has also welcomed four new paralegals: Alina Hutnyk joins the Intellectual property team, Angela Nako and three apprentice paralegals, Isobel Symonds, Michaela Lowry, and Olivia Tinson, join the costs and litigation funding team, Chloe Lazenby joins the real estate team, and Qasim Ali joins the Court of Protection team.
In addition, Clarion has expanded its trainee programme with the addition of three new trainees. Alicia Pursnani joins the corporate team, Max Holton and Niamh Darren join the Real Estate and Real Estate/Construction teams, respectively. The firm’s commitment to nurturing new talent remains strong, as these trainee roles are expected to contribute to their professional growth and the overall success of the firm.
In the central operations team, Johnny Wong joins as front of house, while Jenna Hale takes on the role of account management assistant. these positions are crucial for the firm’s continued internal support and smooth daily operations.
