Leeds law firm Blacks Solicitors has helped fellow local business hero complete a significant acquisition, enabling the digital wellness company to enhance its corporate nutritional guidance offering.
With the support of Blacks, the Leeds-based digital wellness company, hero, which helps individuals and companies focus on health and wellbeing to increase productivity, purchased the professional sports nutrition business, Colour-Fit.
The acquisition allows hero to incorporate Colour-Fit’s nutrition system into its corporate wellbeing services offering.
Blacks was appointed to oversee the deal after working closely with hero on previous investments.

Founder and CEO of hero, Joe Gaunt, who will become CEO of Colour-Fit, said: “We were very impressed with how attentive, thorough and helpful the Blacks Solicitors team were to ensure the deal was completed as smoothly and efficiently as possible.”

In addition to Blacks, Sagars advised on the tax and financial due diligence aspects of the deal, while Fieldfisher represented Colour-Fit.
