Bailoran Solicitors has hired two new consultants—including Law Returners graduate Evelyse Carvalho Ribas.
Tax law consultant Carvalho Ribas (pictured, third from the left) has joined the firm as part of the Law Society’s pilot Law Returners programme.
The firm signed up to the Law Returners programme late last year. Funded by the Government Equalities Office Returners Fund, the programme offers paid professional ‘returnship’ placements.
Simon Ward of Technical Terms, a specialist legal agreement drafting firm, has also joined Bailoran as a consultant. He specialises in company and commercial law.
John Bailes, founder and managing director of Bailoran, said: “I’m delighted to have Simon and Evelyse join the team as it really benefits clients when dealing with experienced consultants. It’s also fantastic to be part of such a pioneering scheme like the Law Society’s Law Returners programme.”
“Simon and Evelyse will serve to strengthen the niche legal services Bailoran provides its clients and their addition continues the organic growth of the business over the last six years.”
“Now a team of eight, it demonstrates that flexible and remote working alongside being in control of what you earn is an increasingly attractive and progressive proposition in the modern workplace.”
