Shulmans has been singled out as one of the UK’s fastest growing law firms by The Lawyer magazine.
The publication has called the Leeds firm a ”regional trailblazer” due to its position as the “biggest riser” in turnover in Yorkshire and the North East.
The firm, which is also one of the top five fastest risers in England, has just posted its fifth year of double-digit growth. It grew by 22.7% in 2014/15, from £8.8m to £10.8m. At its half-year stage last month it was on track to achieve around 15% growth again for 2015/16.
Tim Halstead, the firm’s managing partner, said: “The past five years has been a period of outstanding growth. We smashed our five year, 50% growth target we set ourselves in 2010 in only three years; in 2015 we made £3.58m profit on £10.8m turnover with and we fully expect our turnover in 2016 to hit over £12m.”
“We’re extremely proud to be representing Leeds on the UK stage in this way,” he added.
