North Yorkshire Law strengthens conveyancing with addition of Jaime Dodd

Whitby-based North Yorkshire Law has added Jaime Dodd to its conveyancing team.

The move comes following a series of project wins for North Yorkshire Law and a 15% increase in case load.

Dodd previously worked at Courmacs, a small high street firm in Urmston, Greater Manchester, where he was head of department, responsible for all legal work on sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgage files.

Before that, Dodd was part of a team of conveyancers working in the Manchester city centre for the My Home Move, the largest conveyancing firm in the UK.

Commenting on the new hire, Richard Boyd, partner at North Yorkshire Law, said: “Jaime is very focused on bringing his expertise, enthusiasm and organisational skills to the job whilst developing local connections with an open and friendly approach to communications with clients and fellow professionals.”

Dodd added: “I’m really looking forward to working on behalf of such a well established, reputable law firm.”

“Having relocated from Manchester with my wife, who is originally from Whitby, and our two children and dog, I am fully committed to bringing an exceptional level of service to all of our conveyancing clients. I look forward to meeting our existing clients as well as welcoming new ones.”

Dodd’s arrival comes just a few months after North Yorkshire Law hired Laura Young and Hannah Dowling in Scarborough and Whitby, respectively.

“The business has seen a series of exciting new hires recently. It is fantastic to see it continue to expand,” Boyd commented.
