A solicitor who began her legal career at her grandfather’s firm has joined the property department at Rollits LLP.
A legacy of legal excellence
Georgina Gibbon is the new addition to Rollits LLP. She comes from BG Solicitors LLP, a firm founded in 1944 by Tom Beetenson and her grandfather Lawrence Gibbon. Her father, Richard, also served as a partner there for many years.
Academic and professional background
Georgina hails from Grimsby in Lincolnshire. She graduated from Northumbria University in 2013 and qualified as a solicitor two years later.
For nearly a decade, she specialised in property law at BG Solicitors. She worked across Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire and became partner in charge of the firm’s property department in 2022.
Role at Rollits
At Rollits, Georgina will handle all aspects of residential property law. Her specialties include the right of first refusal, as well as matters related to sales, purchases, and leases of land.
Georgina expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I am delighted to have joined Rollits’ property team. For many years, I have focused on providing exceptional legal services to residential property clients, and I am confident that my experience in conveyancing matters and in particular property trust deeds, deeds of easement, overages, and option agreements, will seamlessly integrate with the team’s existing strengths.
“Rollits’ reputation for exceptional client service is well-deserved, and I am eager to contribute to its continued success. I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues and delivering the excellent outcomes that our clients expect.”
Warm welcome from Rollits
Neil Franklin, partner and head of property at Rollits, welcomed Georgina warmly. He said, “I am delighted that Georgina has joined our team and I look forward to working alongside her in looking after clients from Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and beyond.”
