First4Lawyers celebrate 15 years of legal practice

First4Lawyers commemorated its 15th anniversary with a celebration at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. The event was attended by prominent figures from the legal industry alongside the Huddersfield-based firm.

The evening was teeming with activity, featuring a military reenactment by theatre company Histrionics. The evenings also featured a presentation by psychiatrist Professor Steve Peters, known for his work with sports stars such as Ronnie O’Sullivan, the world’s number one snooker player. Professor Peters is also the author of several best-selling books, including ‘The Chimp Paradox.’

First4Lawyers, has won nine awards since being founded in 2008, including Claims Management Company of the Year at the Personal Injury Awards seven times. Managing director Qamar Anwar stated; “We have certainly come a long way as since those early days. We’ve received over one million enquiries, which wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our fantastic team, many of whom have been with us from the start.

“We also continue to be immensely grateful to our panel firms for their support. The longstanding relationships we have with many of them is testament to the gold standard service we provide.”

In response to the 2021 whiplash reforms, which prompted many firms to withdraw from low-value road traffic accident work, the First4Lawyers group launched First4InjuryClaims. In just two years, the firm has secured over £3.5 million in compensation for injured claimants and has been shortlisted for an industry award.

Qamar Anwar added, “I’m excited to see what the future holds. It has been an incredible journey so far and one that I hope will continue for many more years to come.”
