Exchange Chambers adds new talent to its Leeds team

Exchange Chambers, a barristers’ set with locations in Leeds, Manchester, and Liverpool, has proudly announced the addition of two new barristers to its Leeds branch. Jordan Millican and Hateema Zia have recently completed their pupillage and are now full-fledged members of Exchange Chambers.

During her pupillage, Hateema Zia focused on commercial law under the guidance of Steven Fennell, while Jordan Millican delved into criminal law under the supervision of Alex Menary. Their successful completion of pupillage marks a significant milestone in their legal careers.

Chief executive Jonathan I’Anson warmly welcomed Jordan and Hateema. He stated; “We welcome Jordan and Hateema as full members of Exchange in Leeds and wish them every success at the bar.”

Exchange Chambers has garnered praise for its commitment to supporting the career development of its members, from pupils to junior barristers.

The Legal Cheek Junior Barrister Survey 2023/2024 says: “Exchange offers a level of on-the-job advocacy training that is only possible outside of London”.  The survey goes on to say that “Exchange Chambers get their hands on some of the biggest legal matters” while training is “in a class of its own”.

Exchange Chambers continues to distinguish itself as a leading provider of legal services, offering support and fostering the growth of legal talent across its locations in Leeds, Manchester, and Liverpool.
