Leeds-based Blacks Solicitors is commemorating a decade of collaboration with Vida Healthcare through its involvement in the acquisition and purchase of a new building in Starbeck.
This landmark reflects a solid partnership that has seen the law firm guide Vida Healthcare in more than 50 matters over the past ten years, encompassing site acquisitions, contracts, novations, and funding with a combined value of £28 million.
The most recent transaction, completed in 2023, is the acquisition of a 2,500 sq ft building which will provide Vida Healthcare with a base for Vida Academy, the care provider’s bespoke training platform, to train all staff as specialists. The building will open its doors in September 2023.

Blacks Solicitors had also been pivotal in representing Vida Healthcare during the establishment of their latest care facility, Vida Court, a state-of-the-art specialist dementia care home that opened in 2020. Most recently Lindsay House was opened in Vida Court to provide award-winning specialist care specifically for people living with Huntington’s Disease.
The collaboration between Vida Healthcare and Blacks Solicitors was initially forged due to their longstanding relationship and the law firm’s adeptness in matters relevant to the dementia care sector.
