Access to Justice Foundation Yorkshire announces 10K legal walk dates

The Access to Justice Foundation Yorkshire (previously the Yorkshire Legal Support Trust) has announced the dates for the four 10K legal walks taking place in Yorkshire this year.

Each legal walk, covering Sheffield, York, Leeds and Doncaster, will raise funds to support agencies and charities that provide free legal advice to the poorest, most disadvantaged members of society who struggle with homelessness, debt, family difficulties, mental health issues, discrimination and other problems.

Organised by the Access to Justice Foundation Yorkshire, the regional committee of the national Access to Justice Foundation, the legal walks are taking place on the following dates:

  • Sheffield Legal Walk, 16 June
  • York Legal Walk, 20 June
  • Leeds Legal Walk, 27 June
  • Doncaster Legal Walk, 4 July

Announcing the dates of the Yorkshire legal walks, David Barraclough, chair of the Access to Justice Foundation Yorkshire, said that after two years of legal walks affected by COVID-19 restrictions, he hopes that this summer the legal profession will turn out in greater numbers than ever to support this vital cause.

Further details of the legal walks can be found on the Access to Justice Foundation Yorkshire website.
