Michelle Tebbutt from Hudgell Solicitors has been appointed to the role of vice president at Hull Incorporated Law Society.
An associate solicitor and key member of the Hull-based clinical negligence team at Hudgell Solicitors, Tebbutt (pictured) handles cases involving delayed diagnosis and treatment of cancer, birth injuries, and claims relating to lower and upper limbs and the spine.
She was promoted to associate solicitor in 2021, a role that carries extra responsibilities, such as supporting senior management in working towards strategic goals, assisting with business development, and with the supervision of clinical negligence team members.
Tebbutt expressed her delight at being handed the prestigious role of vice president at Hull Incorporated Law Society, which will then lead to a year-long term as president in 2024.
She said: “It is a great honour to be made the vice president of Hull Incorporated Law Society given the exceptional legal talent across Hull and the East Riding who are members.”
Rachel Di Clemente, chief executive of Hudgell Solicitors, commented: “Michelle is a great role model to others who want to pursue a legal career and progress, as she always looks to make the maximum possible impact through her work, for both her clients and her firm.”
