Second annual LJLD and CapeClarke rounders is a hit

The Leeds Junior Lawyers Division (LJLD) and legal recruitment consultancy CapeClarke hosted their second annual rounders event at Soldier’s Field in Roundhay Park on 4 August.

Taking full advantage of the extended British summer, the LJLD event was attended by more than 35 junior lawyers and trainee solicitors from across Yorkshire.

The event was competitive until the last, with Addleshaw Goddard triumphing over Walker Morris in the final to win the tournament.

Proceedings continued over some hearty food and plenty of alcohol in the sun at the Stew and Oyster in Oakwood. A good time was had by all and it was a great event for professionals from different firms to get to know each other.

The LJLD event followed the hugely successful Manhattan Rooftop Summer Party and BBQ, which took place at East 59th on 27 July, again organised in conjunction with CapeClarke.
