MKB Solicitors names new head of employment

MKB Solicitors has appointed Ben McFeely to lead its employment department.

McFeely, a partner at MKB, has been promoted to head of the employment department after eight years at the firm.

He began his legal career in 2006 and joined MKB in April 2010 from Rollits in Hull.

McFeely undertakes work acting on behalf of both employers and employees, but specialises in the commercial aspects of employment law.

He deals with executive disputes, TUPE issues, redundancy and restructuring, and contractual/policy matters. He has also carved out a niche as a holiday pay expert, consulting businesses in light of European case law developments

Commenting on his promotion, McFeely said: “Having grown with the firm from qualification and following success in developing the employment department in recent years, I am very proud to now head the team moving forward.”

“My primary focus is to ensure our clients receive unparalleled service and cutting-edge legal advice, to achieve the outcomes that are right for them. I look forward to expanding our Employment and HR offering in the years to come.”
