Simon Lewis of Exchange Chambers in Leeds has been appointed to Sport Resolutions’s panel of arbitrators and mediators.
In his role as a development mediator and arbitrator, Lewis (pictured) will be involved in cases relating to: employment and discrimination; integrity and discipline; commercial matters; football; athlete selection and eligibility; and paralympic and disability issues.
The appointment complements his ongoing roles as a chair of England Boxing’s disciplinary panel and as a non-executive director of the West Riding County Football Association. It also builds more generally on his sports law practice, in which he has acted for a number of well-known football clubs.
Exchange Chambers achieved record turnover of £30.8 million for the 2017/18 financial year—a rise of 7.3% on last year’s £28.7 million.
The chambers has now set its sights on further expansion in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.

Exchange Chambers will also be keeping its members’ contributions at the same level, around 12%.
