I am currently Chair of Leeds Junior Lawyers Division  and have held a place on the committee for two years; initially as an Events Officer and then as Vice Chair. I lead and support the committee in providing an array of networking events, both social and educational, for junior lawyers in Leeds. We aim to make a varied and exciting calendar for our members and give them every opportunity to create their own network with like minded individuals locally.

I am currently a Pupil Barrister at St Pauls Chambers in Leeds. After graduating with a BA in Ancient History from the University of Manchester I completed the GDL at Manchester’s College of Law. I returned home to Leeds to study the BPTC at BPP in 2013. I was a paralegal in the Industrial Disease Department at Michael Lewin Solicitors before moving to LPC Law in 2015 as a County Court Advocate. Prior to commencing pupillage I worked in Bradford as an Advocate for Looked After Children with Voiceability, a national advocacy charity. I look forward to considering the nominations for this year’s Yorkshire Legal Awards and wish everyone the very best of luck.
