Emma Doughty joins expanding Harrogate Family Law

Harrogate Family Law has expanded its team with the appointment of a new solicitor, Emma Doughty.

Doughty joins founder Andrew Meehan, partner Ellie Foster, solicitor Claudia Gilham and paralegal Laura Mounsey at the North Yorkshire firm, which marks its sixth anniversary this autumn.

Meehan said Emma’s appointment would support the firm’s ambitious growth plans, which include new office openings and further strategic appointments.

“We are delighted to be attracting bright, talented individuals like Emma to work with us as part of our knowledgeable and approachable team,” he said.

“Emma joins us at an exciting time for the firm as we celebrate six years in Harrogate and our third successive ranking by Chambers UK as one of the region’s top family law specialists.”

Emma said: “Harrogate Family Law has an outstanding reputation for excellence and I am pleased to have the opportunity to develop my career with the firm and work alongside some of the region’s leading family law experts.”
