Blacks Solicitors recruits specialist property litigator Rachael Donnelly

Black Solicitors has recruited Rachael Donnelly to its property litigation team.

Donnelly joins the team from DWF where she trained and qualified. With over eight years’ experience as a specialist property litigator, and having acted on behalf of a whole range of clients, she deals with a variety of property management and land based issues and disputes. Her experience includes commercial landlord and tenant matters, such as lease renewal proceedings and breaches of covenant, possession actions, development and contractual disputes and advising and enforcing third party rights such as restrictive covenants and easements.

“I’ve specialised in property litigation since 2011 and I can’t wait to get started at Blacks,” said Donnelly.

“With its sterling reputation, friendly staff and brand new office space, it’s an exciting time to be joining the firm.

“Focusing on understanding my clients’ objectives and ensuring my advice is tailored to each client’s needs is really important to me. I work to ensure a seamless service and regularly provide advice on risk management as well as engaging in alternative dispute resolution and formal court proceedings.”

James Teagle, partner and head of Blacks’ property litigation team, said: “We are all delighted to have Rachael join us. She is extremely talented and her experience will prove invaluable to both our clients and the team.”

Chris Allen, Blacks’ managing partner, said that the firm’s recent office move had enabled it to recruit “more great solicitors” such as Donnelly.

“As Blacks continues to go from strength to strength, we remain on the look out for others who would like to join Blacks,” he said.
